It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? From Picture Books to YA!
Kellee Moye, of Unleashing Readers, and I decided to give It's Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children's literature - picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, anything in the world of kidlit - join us! We love this meme and think you will, too. We encourage everyone who participates to visit at least three of the other kidlit book bloggers that link up and leave comments for them.
Last Week's Book Adventures:I finished listening to Option B and started The Beauty That Remains by Ashley Woodfolk. We're still reading Sideways Stories from Wayside School before bed and I also started reading Take Joy by Jane Yolen.
I'm excited to listen to The Beauty That Remains and to read more of Take Joy. I'm hoping to get back to Darkroom this week and to start The Lost Girl by Anne Ursu.
Check back throughout the week to read these posts.
So, what are you reading this week?
To help build our community and support other bloggers,
we ask that you comment on at least three other blogs before you.
Also, if you tweet about your Monday post, don't forget to use #IMWAYR!
I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Ada's Violin. I'm teaching a college course this year on music fundamentals (all elementary education majors) and I've been preparing to bring in a ton of picture books that relate to music. I'm really hoping I can get my hands on a copy of this before that class! Have a great reading week, Jen!ReplyDelete
I'm jealous of The Lost Girl. Have fun reading while I wait. ;)ReplyDelete
Sideways Stories from Wayside School was one of my earlier favourites - and one of the reasons why I got into kidlit. :)ReplyDelete
