Let's Celebrate 2017 Books!

It's time to CELEBRATE This Week with Ruth Ayres from Discover. Play. Build.  Every week Ruth invites us to share our celebrations from the week and link up at her blog. What a fun way to reflect on everything there is to be thankful for.

This week I'm celebrating school-wide collaboration!

January means thinking about the books I'm looking forward to this year! The Nerdy awards were announced last month and the ALA awards will be announced in two weeks but today I'm thinking about MG and YA books I'm excited to read this year.

At the top of the list is The Peculiar Incident on Shady Street by my friend Lindsay Currie. Unfortunately, I have to wait until September to read this middle grade novel but I'm so so so excited for it! Isn't the book cover lovely? Lindsay describes it as, "Strong girls, clever boys, ghosts and first crushes️." Can you see why I can't wait?

And there here are some YA books I'm looking forward to in 2017:

It's going to be another year of wonderful books, I can just tell. What books are you excited for this year?

What are you celebrating this week?
