Let's Celebrate Make-You-Wanna-Cry Moments!

It's time to CELEBRATE This Week with Ruth Ayres from Discover. Play. Build.  Every week Ruth invites us to share our celebrations from the week and link up at her blog. What a fun way to reflect on everything there is to be thankful for.

This week I'm celebrating make-me-wanna-cry moments!

*throws confetti*

Do you ever have moments when everything feels full and right and you want to burst at the brilliance of life? I totally felt like that yesterday morning...and kind of again right now. I'm listening to Amy Poehler's book Yes Please! and I love her message of accepting life's imperfections. I blogged recently about this same message that was shared in The Art of Possibility that I read a couple of weeks ago. I'm a sap for inspirational stuff apparently because I can never get enough of it. I walked into a store today and wanted to buy everything in the Kelly Rae Roberts section.

Ruth actually shared Kelly Rae Roberts with me. I have a beautiful piece of artwork hanging in my beloved laundry room - one of my favorite writing spots - thanks to her. Kelly Rae Roberts' work is full of inspiration. What kind of inspiration do you need? 'Cause she's got it.

As I wandered around Kelly's blog, I discovered her manifesto page. The following image caught my eye.
I've talked about this with my sister, Jacquie, and my friend Jennifer a lot lately. Our hope is to encourage others to write about their lives and to explore and share their stories. I know blogging and Twitter and writing on and offline has helped me so much. I'm passionate about doing what I can to support others. We'll be starting a blog called Process the Mess soon and I'm so excited. To read about Process the Mess, you can go here.

Yup. Our life is our story and it can be totally messy but remarkable at the same time. I have a whole blog series planned about marveling at the miracle of life...I just have to figure out when to run it. Maybe late spring? After the Slice of Life challenge and when everything things bursting and ready to sprout and grow? And now I'm also thinking about what I might include in my own manifesto. Lots to think about and dream about and believe in...which makes for lots of make-me-wanna-cry moments. It's a good cry though, don't worry.

What do you believe in?
What might you include in your manifesto?
What are you celebrating this week?
