It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? From Picture Books to YA!
It's Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It's also a great chance to see what others are reading right now...you just might discover your next “must-read” book!
Kellee Moye, of Unleashing Readers, and I decided to give It's Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. Last Week's Book Adventures:
On Sunday, I brought our puppy, Perdi, home while my husband and the kids were at my parents'. She was tired after have her puppy training class and then spending the afternoon meeting new dogs in my parents' neighborhood and running around after my parents' dog...which meant she curled up next to me on the couch as I read aloud Dash and Lily's Book of Dares and it was awesome. I read a little of Warren the 13th and the All-Seeing Eye too last week. And Peanut and I started reading The Terrible Two Get Worse by Mac Barnett and Jory John and it's so so fun already. It's just so fun to read with him.
Upcoming Book Adventures:
I'm going to see what reading and writing winter break brings my way. I'm not even going to commit to any reviews because I haven't been so great at getting them up lately...so I'll officially call it a break for break and hopefully I can get some posts scheduled for January. I will be back next week for IMWAYR. See you then!
