It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 08/06/2018

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? From Picture Books to YA!

It's Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It's also a great chance to see what others are reading right now...you just might discover your next “must-read” book!

Kellee Moye, of Unleashing Readers, and I decided to give It's Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children's literature - picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, anything in the world of kidlit - join us! We love this meme and think you will, too. We encourage everyone who participates to visit at least three of the other kidlit book bloggers that link up and leave comments for them.

Last Week's Book Adventures:
It was another hard week for me. I ended up listening to The Night Circus by Erin Morgensten. I've read it before but it's a book I adore and Jim Dale is the narrator and it was what my heart needed this week. Sometimes a good book makes such a difference.

Upcoming Book Adventures:
I'd like to get back to Dear Martin by Nic Stone that I started on audio and to read more of Being the Change by Sara Ahmed.

  1. Drawn Together is also on my list of books to read this week, Pernille Ripp suggested it in her books to read within the first days of school. I am looking forward to it!

  2. Excited to hear your thoughts on Being the Change by Sara Ahmed (AND Dear Martin as I really liked that one!). Hoping to get a copy of Drawn Together in my neck of the woods very soon. Thank you for hosting #imwayr!
