Last Week's Adventures:

I finished listening to The Last Cuentista as an aubiobook this week and it was so great. So much to think about in terms of stories and how we are connected to our past, present, and future. I also read Citizen Illegal by Jose Olivarez and started This is the Journey by Alison Malee and Seeking Wisdom by Julia Cameron.

This Week's Adventures:

This week I'll be listening to Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art by James Nestor. We're focusing on nonfiction at school so I'm excited for a nonfiction read. I'll continue reading This is the Journey and Seeking Wisdom as well.

I finished listening to Lost in the Never Woods by Aiden Thomas and it was absolutely amazing. So good. I also read Miles Morales: Shock Waves and it was fun. AND I even finished Meet Cute Diary by Emery Lee and it was great too.

This Week's Adventures:

This week I'm excited to listen to The Last Cuentista by Donna Barba Higuera. I've heard great things and I'm excited to listen to it. And I'm going to go back to Atlas of the Heart by Brené Brown.

I finished listening to Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert last week and I also listened to Ain't Burned All the Bright by Jason Reynolds. I've also really enjoyed exploring some of the  exercises in my A Little Book of Self Care Breathwork. 

This Week's Adventures:

Over the weekend I started reading Writing As A Way of Healing by Louise DeSalvo and it is affirming basically everything I know about writing. It's awesome. I also started listening to Stuntboy, in the Meantime and I'm excited to read more of both of them.

Happy 2022!!! My word for the year is GO and I hope this new year is GOing well for you so far. 

Last week I ended up rereading Cleo Wade's book Where to Begin...which is not what I was expecting to do but I do adore it! I'm sharing my thoughts on Instagram @storyexploratory and might also share a post here.

I opened up my email and saw my January educator books from Libro.fm so I'm totally diving into listening to Ain't Burned All the Bright by Jason Reynolds. I also got a new book called A Little Book of Self Care Breathwork by Nathalia Westmacott-Brown that I have explored a bit.

Last Week's Adventures:

I finished Aristotle and Dante Dive Into the Waters of the World and I absolutely LOVED it. I also finished The Queens of Animation and enjoyed the behind the scenes stories from female artists at Disney. I'm listened to Big Magic for the 3rd or 4th time at least. Something new always stands out to me every time I read it.

This Week's Adventures:

This week I'll be reading Brené Brown's new book Atlas of the Heart and re-listening to Big Magic. I also need to read the graphic novel version of Speak and I still have After the Shot Drops to finish up. 

It's the last Monday of 2021! It's fascinating to me that one year can go by so slowly and at the same time so quickly! Thanks for visiting and sharing what you are reading!

Last Week's Adventures:

This week I listened to more of Aristotle and Dante and also did some podcast listening. I read My Shouting, Shattered, Whispering Voice by Patrice Vecchione, it's all about writing poetry and I enjoyed it. Then I started reading The Queens of Animation. I'm about halfway through and it's so interesting.

This Week's Adventures:

I'll finish The Queens of Animation and then I have Speak the graphic novel to read and Brene Brown's new book, Atlas of the Heart. And I plan to finish listening to Aristotle and Dante. We are on winter break and I'm soaking up all the wonderful time off!
