It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 03/04/2019

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? From Picture Books to YA!

It's Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It's also a great chance to see what others are reading right now...you just might discover your next “must-read” book!

Kellee Moye, of Unleashing Readers, and I decided to give It's Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children's literature - picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, anything in the world of kidlit - join us! We love this meme and think you will, too. We encourage everyone who participates to visit at least three of the other kidlit book bloggers that link up and leave comments for them.

Announcements:
I've started hosting Story Exploratory workshops and it has been amazing to be surrounded with people who believe in the power of stories. Some people are new to writing and some have written multiple novels. Everyone is welcome and it's been great to see people come together and celebrate the power of writing. This month I'm hosting the Set Your Story Free workshop as an online workshop on Thursday, March 7th and the All Is Bright workshop as an in person workshop. If you're interested in more information, check out my Patreon community or visit the Story Exploratory website.

Last Week's Book Adventures:
Happy March! I'm so so so excited that March is here! Bring on the sun! I am sooooooo ready. This week we read more of A Crooked Kind of Perfect but we still aren't done! I started reading Megan Stielstra's Once I Was Cool and I love her writing even more. I also read more of Silver Meadows Summer by Emma Otheguy.

  3. I love how you're conducting writing workshops. Reading about that took me back to the days when SFUSD had funding and my school had grant money and we teachers went to a writer's workshop series in the evenings. They were fabulous ppl.
