It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 9/9/13

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? From Picture Books to YA!
It's Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It's also a great chance to see what others are reading right now...you just might discover the next “must-read” book!
Kellee Moye, of Unleashing Readers, and I decided to give It's Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children's literature - picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, anything in the world of kidlit - join us! We love this meme and think you will, too. We encourage everyone who participates to visit at least three of the other kidlit book bloggers that link up and leave comments for them. Be sure to grab the current IMWAYR button and link up!

Last Week's Book Adventures:
Jen Says: Last week I finished listening to The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien. It ended up being more than a war story and I loved that, it was more of a people story. Can't wait to review it and share my thoughts. I started listening to Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe and am enjoying it so far. I also finished reading The Real Boy and enjoyed it, too. I started reading Deliverology 101 which are are discussing in my department at work. I'm a little over halfway through The Lonely Hearts Club and loving it, too. Lots of great reading happening here!

Upcoming Book Adventures:
Jen Says: I'm going to keep listening to Aristotle and Dante and continue reading The Lonely Hearts Club. I would like to start reading The Art of Possibility and continue reading The Productive Writer. I also have some books to read for research for my non-fiction picture book. At some point, I need to go digging through my books to find my copy of The Wright Three by Blue Balliett so I can reread it and go on The Wright Three mystery tour of the Robie house this fall (it's one of my things-to-do from my Unboring List for this year!). I have to find a great poem to share on Friday because I'm hosting Poetry Friday! So excited! Happy reading everyone!
