It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 10/7/13

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? From Picture Books to YA!
It's Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It's also a great chance to see what others are reading right now...you just might discover the next “must-read” book!
Kellee Moye, of Unleashing Readers, and I decided to give It's Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children's literature - picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, anything in the world of kidlit - join us! We love this meme and think you will, too. We encourage everyone who participates to visit at least three of the other kidlit book bloggers that link up and leave comments for them.

Last Week's Book Adventures:
Jen Says: Well...I'm feeling better! I finally went to the doctor and got some medication and I'm feeling so much better already. It's pretty awesome to feel like myself again. Most of the week I was still struggling though! I have been reading To Be Perfectly Honest and received an advanced copy of Donalyn Miller's Reading in the Wild so I have been reading that. I keep stopping to underline and make comments in the margins so I have a feeling it may take me a while to get through it. I'm loving it though. I did grab Anne of Green Gables on audio to listen to this week and I'm also enjoying it. It is part of my Book Gap challenge because I loved watching it on television when I was young but I never read the book. Super fun and I'm enjoying it thoroughly.

Upcoming Book Adventures:
Jen Says: My plan this week is to keep reading To Be Perfectly Honest and Reading in the Wild as well as to continue listening to Anne of Green Gables. I have Cuckoo's Calling waiting for me on hold at the library as an audiobook and I'm really intrigued so I may pop that in when I finish Anne. I can't wait to share the awesomeness of Reading in the Wild. I'm absolutely loving it!
