It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 4/26/2021

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? From Picture Books to YA!

It's Monday! What are you Reading? is a weekly blog hop I co-host with Kellee and Ricki from Unleashing ReadersThe original IMWAYR, with an adult literature focus, was started by Sheila at Book Journeys and is now hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date.

It's a great way to share what you're reading and get recommendations. We encourage you to write your own post sharing what you’re reading, link up below, leave a comment, and support other IMWAYR bloggers by visiting and commenting on at least three of the other linked blogs.

Last Week's Adventures:
My reading life exploded last week...I LOVE THE LIBRARY! I legit feel like I have the world at my fingertips again. I listened to more of Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: 100 Immigrant Women Who Changed the World and I read more of The Practice by Seth Godin. But I also have been reading Traci Chee's We Are Not Free and I looked through Amy Krouse Rosenthal's Textbook AKR and Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life and I started reading My Auto-biography of Carson McCullers. Y'all, my brain feels ignited with all these books to explore!

This Week's Adventures:

As you can maybe tell I've been exploring lots of adult books...and I'm more than okay with it because I really need to nurture my own little heart right now. I'm still reading We Are Not Free but I'm having fun exploring books for my own reader and writer soul as well.

Last Week's Adventures:
I finished listening to The Total Eclipse of Nestor Lopez and enjoyed the magical realism. I also finished Little Weirds and started The Practice: Shipping Creative Work by Seth Godin. I also started to listen to Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls; 100 Immigrant Women Who Changed the World.

This Week's Adventures:

This week my plan is to keep listening to Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls and read more of The Practice and start We Are Not Free. Did I tell you my library is open again? I got to go last week and it was so fun to be able to wander again.
